Strengths: Good size. Reliable hands. Can be a dominant blocker at times. Plays with a mean streak and finishes off his blocks. Great natural athlete.

Weaknesses: Doesn't always play with the intensity he needs to be a great blocker. An inconsistent performer. Lack the speed to be a great receiver.

Comments: Son of former major leaguer Willie Upshaw and nephew of NFL great and current NFLPA Executive Director Gene Upshaw. Upshaw is an underrated prospect whose stock is serious hurt coming from one of the worst football programs in the country. He is unproven, but shows the athleticism to succeed if he puts it all together. He projects as a late round selection or free agent.
