Garrett Wolfe #1
Running Back
Northern Illinois
Ht: 5'7
Wt: 182

Strengths: A quick, shifty running back. Has the speed to take it to the house on any play. Has good instincts and is a patient runner. Above average as receiver.

Weaknesses: Doesn't have great size and appears to have maxed out as as as bulk is concerned. Not a powerful runner; relies strictly on his speed. Has a long string of minor injuries that have caused him to miss games nearly every season.

Comments: After starting out 2006 on an extremely strong note, Wolfe disappeared the second half of the season and so did his hopes of being a high selection in the draft. He is talented athlete, but his lack of size hurts potential at the next level. He would appear to make a nice kick/punt returner but he lacks experience. His best case scenario appears to be as an early day two selection for a team willing to test him out as a return man.
