Weaknesses: Lacks ideal height. Has room to bulk up. Doesn't have great ball skills and has a habit of being overaggressive.

Comments: Griffin saw significant playing time in all four years at Texas and was a full time starter his final two seasons. He is a physical player that likely will be a strong safety at the next level. He doesn't have elite speed which hurts his stock some. Has the reputation of being a hard worker and coach favorite. He looks like a lock to go no lower than the second round, with a chance to slide into the late first.
