Strengths: Adequate size. Good speed. Reliable hands. Has big play potential. A threat in the return game. Elite strength for a wide receiver; especially one of his size. Has the ability to fight through jams at the line of scrimmage and break tackles.

Weaknesses: Dismissed from UNC after being arrested for driving with a fake licence. Missed part of 2006 with a sprained knee.

Comments: Mason comes with a lot of baggage and the character concerns are going to hurt his stock significantly. He has a ton of upside as a potential return special, and may even have the ability to develop into a solid slot receiver. He has the chance to be selected late in the draft, but his character and injury concerns may force him to sign as a free agent.
