Reggie Nelson #1
Safety
Florida
Ht: 6'1
Wt: 193

Strengths: Tremendous athlete. A ball hawk in the secondary. Has experience at both cornerback and safety. Elite speed for a safety. At his best in zone coverage, and projects as a better safety prospect than at cornerback. Plays physical. Gives a good effort in run support.

Weaknesses: Doesn't have great size. Average, at best, in run support. Tackling technique is suspect. Relies too much on his elite athletic ability and needs to work on his fundamentals.

Comments: Transferred from community college to Florida in 2005 and was tremendously productive for two seasons. His speed and athletic ability catch your eye immediately. After taking a closer look some weaknesses emerge but its nothing that can't be fixed and he has the potential to develop into one of the top safeties in the game.
