Strengths: Excellent size/speed combination. A powerful running back. Shows good field awareness and good vision as a running back. A threat as a receiver out of the backfield. An experience kickoff returner.

Weaknesses: Has not shown the ability to carry the load. Has some durability issues with past ankle, rib and groin injuries. Gets happy feet in the backfield and takes too many unnecessary steps, slowing him down before he hits the hole. Had an up and down college career and never showed the ability to dominate.

Comments: Young has some upside because of his size/speed combination, but most likely will have to settle for being a backup at the next level. He doesn't have the pure athletic ability to be a force at the next level and doesn't have the size to truly be a straight ahead runner. He projects as a mid to late round selection.
