Stephon Heyer #70
Offensive Tackle
Maryland
Ht: 6'6
Wt: 320

Strengths: Ideal height for a tackle. Excellent strength. A hard worker that has improved throughout his career. Has a sturdy base and excels in pass protection. A solid all around athlete.

Weaknesses: Durability is a major concern. Missed all of 2005 with a torn knee ligament.

Comments: Heyer could have been a first day selection had he stayed healthy, but he looked significantly slower and less mobile in 2006 than he did two years prior. He is still a fundamentally sound lineman with some upside if he can put the injury behind him and continue to work his way back to his old form. He projects as a late round selection.
