Steve Smith #2
Wide Receiver
USC
Ht: 6'0
Wt: 197

Strengths: Good speed. Very quick. Runs crisp routes. Experience at the highest level of competition. A reliable receiver with good hands. Gives you his best effort on every play.

Weaknesses: Lacks ideal strength and struggles as a blocker. Overall size is only adequate. Missed time with a broken leg in 2004. He isn't an elite athlete by wide receiver standards.

Comments: Smith is a bit of an overachiever but you have to love the effort he gives you on the field and you can't argue with his production. He's been overshadowed by bigger receivers his entire career but always been able to step up and make plays in their shadows. He is an underrated prospect at this point, but look for him to climb up the boards and be a third round selection at the latest.
