Strengths: Technically sound player. Great understanding of the game of football. Very reliable, rarely caught out of position. Great footwork. Good hand placement. A team leader on the field.

Weaknesses: Not a powerful, dominant blocker. Has little experience as a run blocker. Plays too upright at times.

Comments: Esera had an excellent career at Hawaii and he develop skills perfect for their system. However, his lack of ability to be truly dominant may cause some teams to shy away from him. All of his weaknesses are fixable, however, and he has the work ethic to improve and develop into a potential future starter.
