Strengths: Good natural athlete. Has good quickness. Shows the ability to slip past the linemen an make plays in the backfield. A physical, aggressive player, especially for his size. Decent in zone coverage; displays average ball skills. A team leader on and off the field.

Weaknesses: Lacks ideal size. Below average speed. Doesn't have the ability to match up in man coverage.

Comments: Latimer has the intangibles and understanding of the game to be a solid backup at the next level, but he lacks the physical ability to develop into a starter. He may be best suited as an inside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. He projects as a mid round pick.
