Anthony Morelli QB Penn State #14

Ht: 6'4
Wt: 225

Strengths:
Ideal size and strength for an NFL quarterback. Strong arm. Above average accuracy on both short and deep passes. Good throwing motion. Quick release.
Weaknesses:
Below average athletic ability. Makes too many mistakes. Forces the ball into coverage, especially when he's under pressure or when he needs to make a big play.
Comments:
Shockingly, Morelli ends his career as one of the great all-time quarterbacks in Penn State history. He became first quarterback in school history to pass for over 2,000 yards in consecutive seasons. This past year he finished just 25 yards shy of breaking Kerry Collins' school record for passing yards in a season . Despite his productive career, and his prototypical size and strength, he just doesn't have the on field smarts to take his game to the next level. He could be a serviceable backup, but shouldn't be drafted any higher than the 6th round.
