Antoine Cason CB Arizona #5

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 190

Strengths:
Ideal size and strength. Reliable tackler. Very solid fundamentals. Looks fluid in man coverage. Good hands. Above average leaping ability. Follows the ball in the air and times jumps well.
Weaknesses:
Too slow to be a true shut down corner at the next level. Gets beat off the line by quicker receivers.
Comments:
Cason is one of the most productive cornerbacks in this draft class, but he lacks the physical tools to make a huge impact at the next level. His speed will hold him back from being an elite cornerback and he may be better suited to switch to free safety. This is a very weak class of safeties, which could cause Cason to go a little higher than his cornerback abilities would indicate. He should be a 2nd to 3rd round pick in April's draft.
