Brandon Flowers CB Virginia Tech #18

Ht: 5'10
Wt: 190

Strengths:
A real playmaker in the secondary; recorded 5 interceptions as a senior. Above average speed. Has the speed and overall technique to handle man coverage, even against bigger receivers. Very strong for his size. Decent leaping ability.
Weaknesses:
Undersized. Missed most of 2004 with a fractured right fibula.
Comments:
Flowers doesn't have the size you look for in a cornerback, but he has enough speed to make up for it. He should test very well in workouts thanks to his above average strength. Normally he would have been better off staying in school, but in a generally weak class for cornerbacks he should be no worse than a 3rd round selection.
