Strengths:
Good speed for his size. A solid all around athlete. Quick off the line of scrimmage. A converted linebacker. Dominated his level of competition.
Weaknesses:
Hasn't played against elite competition. Needs to bulk up; appears to be a little soft. Doesn't show a good array of pass rush moves; hasn't needed them to be dominant at his level.
Comments:
Johnston is an intriguing prospect and definitely has some upside. He's worth taking a shot on in the late rounds, but in my opinion he lacks the athleticism and the dominant strength to really make his mark at the next level.
