Strengths:
Tremendous natural athlete. Well built and has good overall strength. A hard worker and a team leader. Very good fundamentals. A reliable tackler. Shows good instincts; puts himself in position to make plays.
Weaknesses:
Already 24 years old. Much more effective against the run than in coverage. Limited in his pass rush ability. Lacks elite speed.
Comments:
Kehl is a great natural athlete and has plenty of upside. He's limited in certain aspects of his game, but definitely has the raw talent and the work ethic to improve with some coaching. He's a solid mid-round prospect who will contribute immediately on special teams and have the opportunity to develop into a starter.
