Charles Godfrey CB Iowa #13

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 208

Strengths:
Ideal size. Sold tackler. Good ball skills. Elite speed. Has experience at both safety and cornerback. Tremendous natural athlete. Coaches speak highly of his work ethic and leadership.
Weaknesses:
Only two years of experience at cornerback. Still very raw. Relies on speed and natural athleticism; technique needs work. Didn't make much of an impact until his senior year.
Comments:
Players like Godfrey always create a sticky situation for scouts. He had a great senior year, but he was barely on the radar screen before his breakout season. Was he a one hit wonder, or does he have some real talent? His rare combination of size and speed should be enough to land in him in the first three rounds, but he will take time to reach his full potential because he is still learning the cornerback position.
