Chase Ortiz DE TCU #93

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 244

Strengths:
A nasty player that always plays to the whistle. Gets the most out of his abilities. Has excellent technique. Uses good leverage to hold his ground against bigger offensive linemen. A true hustle player that beats out better athletes by just wanting it more.
Weaknesses:
Vastly undersized for the defensive end position. Lacks ideal speed, strength and quickness.
Comments:
Ortiz gives you his best effort at all times, and that alone should get him onto an NFL roster. He may never be a starter, but he's the type of player coaches love and will feel comfortable with as a backup. His style of play reminds me of Matt Roth of the Miami Dolphins, although he doesn't have Roth's size or strength. Ortiz should be a solid late round pick.
