Darien Williams S Oklahoma #41

Ht: 5'10
Wt: 198

Strengths:
A decent athlete. Well built. A reliable tackler. A smart football player. Looks like the belongs on the field, despite getting little playing time.
Weaknesses:
Was never a full time starter. Below average speed. Not a true playmaker. Slightly undersized. Had surgery to repair a stress fracture during the summer of 2007.
Comments:
Williams was probably the best backup safety in the country this year due to Oklahoma's crowded secondary. He has the skills to start for almost any other program in the nation. Given the lack of film on him, his ability is a bit of an unknown, but he has definitely show flashes of skills that would allow him to take his game to the next level. He could be a late round pick but is more likely to be picked up as a free agent.
