DeSean Jackson WR California #1

Ht: 5'10
Wt: 169

Strengths:
Elite speed. A serious threat to take it the distance every time he has the ball in his hands. Adequate hands. Good leaping ability. An elite return specialist.
Weaknesses:
Vastly undersized. Injury concerns are warranted despite being relatively healthy through college. Thumb injury slowed his production in 2007.
Comments:
Older brother Byron played receiver for the Chiefs in the early '90s. He is an elite return specialist with some upside as a receiver. He has shown flashes of brilliance, but much like Ted Ginn Jr. in 2007, his size raises some concerns. He may be a more explosive return man than Ginn, but hasn't been as productive as a receiver as Ginn was coming out of Ohio State. His big play potential makes him a first round pick, but he is a year or two away from developing into a go-to-guy.
