Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB Tennessee State #45

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 183

Strengths:
Above average height for a cornerbacks. Well built despite lack of bulk. Enough speed to match up with most receivers man to man. Very fluid despite his height. Aggressive in run support; a solid and reliable tackler. Good ball skills. An experienced kick returner.
Weaknesses:
Hasn't faced elite competition. Over aggressive at times; gets beat when going for interceptions and is flagged for pass interference too often. Focuses on his man and his man only; rarely turns and reads the quarterback.
Comments:
Cromartie-Rodgers is one of the best physical specimens in this draft and one of the most intriguing prospects. He had a tremendous performance at the Senior Bowl which has solidified his spot as a first or second round pick. His stock will vary with each team depending on their defensive scheme. Rodgers will fit best with a team that primarily runs man to man coverage. He has little experience in zone defenses and doesn't show the necessary skills to have a steep learning curve.
