Earl Bennett WR Vanderbilt #10

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 209

Strengths:
Adequate height. Good size and strength. Very Reliable hands. Shows good body control and runs crisp routes. Productive in a program that is mediocre at best. Knows how to handle being the number one receiver and drawing the attention of the defense on every play.
Weaknesses:
Lacks elite speed. Leaping ability is disappointing. Won't go up and make a play in coverage. Not a deep threat.
Comments:
As one of the few top athletes in the Vanderbilt program Bennett stood out despite always drawing the top defenders from the opponent. He was as reliable as it gets in the SEC, posted nine career games with 10 or more receptions. He doesn't have breakaway speed or the leaping ability to be a serious down field threat, but he should develop into a solid second or third option in the NFL.
