Early Doucet WR LSU #9

Ht: 6'0
Wt: 209

Strengths:
Adequate height and good size. Well built. Reliable hands. Makes plays after the catch. Experienced as a return specialist. Runs god routes. A good natural athlete.
Weaknesses:
Below average speed. Not much of a deep threat. Fairly serious durability concerns. Missed end of 2005 season with a sprained ankle. Missed time in 2007 with a pulled groin. Not major injuries, but seemed to be banged up his entire college career. Wasn't a full time starter until his senior year, and only played about half the season as a senior due to injuries.
Comments:
Doucet has the talent, but he's relatively unproven. He can't seem to stay healthy and when he has been on the field he's been mediocre. He ends his collegiate career with just two career 100 yard games, both coming in his junior year. He is one of the more over-hyped prospects in the draft and will likely come off the board in the second round range, well before he deserves based on his body of work.
