Edward Williams WR Lane #1

Ht: 6'4
Wt: 206

Strengths:
Ideal height and overall size. A physical receiver. Shows the ability to go up and get the ball. Not afraid to go across the middle. Can take a hit and keep moving.
Weaknesses:
Hasn't faced elite competition. Struggled to gain eligibility early in his career for academic reasons. Went to West Alabama in 2001 but did not play football. Transferred to Alabama State in 2002 but could not gain eligibility from 2002-04. Transferred to Lane in 2005 where he was finally eligible to play. All added up, he spent 8 (yes, 8) years in college.
Comments:
Aside from being older than the average prospect you have wonder about his ability to handle a playbook. He spent eight years in college battle academic issues throughout. He likely won't get drafted, but he has the size that may catch the attention of teams looking for a decent developmental prospect. To put his age into perspective, he originally enrolled in college the same year as Brandon Lloyd, who now on his 3rd NFL team about to enter his 6th season in the league.
