Eric Foster DE Rutgers #56

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 277

Strengths:
A nasty player with a motor that never quits. Decent overall athleticism. A true team leader on and off the field. Top intangibles. Adequate speed. Experience at defensive end and tackle. Tremendous strength.
Weaknesses:
Not quick off the snap. Missed most of 2005 season with a torn ACL. Not a great fit at either tackle or end.
Comments:
Foster is a 'tweener between defensive tackle and end. He has the skills to be a quality NFL player, and certainly will put forth the effort, but he just doesn't fit at either position. If he bulks up a bit he could be a good fit at end in a 3-4 system. Regardless of where he ends up, it may take some time before he settles into a position.
