Erik Ainge QB Tennessee #10

Ht: 6'6
Wt: 223

Strengths:
Great size. Enough athletic ability to buy some extra time. Adequate arm strength. Started three of his four years at Tennessee. Shows good accuracy on short passes.
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent; goes on hot and cold streaks throughout the season and even through the course of a game. Suffered a laundry list of injuries. Had surgery on a torn meniscus prior to the 2007 season. Also has suffered neck, ankle and shoulder injuries throughout his career.
Comments:
Ainge has the physical tools of an NFL quarterback but inconsistent play and serious injury concerns will drop him in the draft. He's a solid mid-round pick and should be make a roster. He has the ability to develop into a reliable backup and maybe even a mediocre starter if he's given time to learn the position at the NFL level.
