Strengths:
Decent size and strength. Excels as a run stuffer. Strong lower body provides a sturdy base; doesn't get knocked backwards.
Weaknesses:
Took a major step backwards in 2007 after an impressive junior year. An inconsistent player with limited athletic ability and only average size and strength.
Comments:
Morton flashed NFL potential as a junior but that player was no where to be seen his senior year. His stock has been falling for the past year and he will be lucky to get drafted. Based on prior performances, however, he deserves a chance to regain that form in an NFL training camp.
