Strengths:
Ideal size for the position. Good overall strength. Excels as a pass rusher; posted 10.5 sacks as a senior. Good overall athleticism. Decent speed. A perfect fit at outside linebacker in a 3-4 system.
Weaknesses:
Played defensive end in college but is too small for the position in the pros.
Comments:
Taylor is fast rising up the draft board this spring. He doesn't have the elite measurables, but he appears to have the overall athleticism to take his game to the next level. He may need a year on the practice squad to learn the outside linebacker position, but he definitely has what it takes to make that jump. He could be a very solid late round sleeper pick.
