Jake Ikegwuonu CB Wisconsin #6

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 202

Strengths:
Great size. Very physical; good at jamming receivers at the line of scrimmage without getting out of position. A playmaker in coverage.
Weaknesses:
Charged with burglary and trespassing for stealing a x-box in 2006. Lacks ideal speed. Tends to be overaggressive and bites on fakes. Tore his ACL, MCL and suffered damage to his knee cap during an offseason workout this January. He will reportedly miss the entire 2008 season and his ability to return after that is questionable.
Comments:
Ikegwuonu had the potential to be a 2nd or 3rd round selection this April prior to suffering a very serious knee injury. Now he will be lucky to get drafted at all. His knee injury is said to be worse than the one suffered by Willis McGahee and he has decidedly less potential than McGahee, meaning no one will be crazy enough to select him as high as McGahee was taken. No one will spend any more than a 5th rounder on a cornerback that may not see the field until 2009.
