Jake Long OT Michigan #77

Ht: 6'7
Wt: 313

Strengths:
Ideal size and strength. Has the long arms that scouts look for in tackles. A tremendously productive college athlete; only allowed two sacks in his career. A hard worker and a team leader. Plays with the intensity you love to see from an offensive lineman. Excels as a run blocker; generates a good push forward.
Weaknesses:
Despite a good forty time, he isn't very quick. Susceptible to getting beat by lineman that are just quicker off the line. Best suited to play right tackle.
Comments:
Long is a little overrated because he doesn't project as a great left tackle, which is where most lineman taken early in the draft are expected to play. He has the ability to be a very productive pro, but he may not be the truly elite prospect that his college success might indicate.
