Jamaal Charles RB Texas #25

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 200

Strengths:
Ideal size. Elite speed; a threat to take it the distance every time he touches the ball. Great quickness and agility. A patient runner who waits for the play to develop. An impressive arsenal of moves to make defenders miss. A four time all-american in track.
Weaknesses:
Not a powerful running back. Runs much smaller than size would allow. Has struggled hanging onto the football at times. Lacks the ability to consistently make things happen while running between the tackles. Below average blocker.
Comments:
Charles has the physical tools to carry the load, but he is still raw. He lacks the ability to hit the ground running the NFL, which hurts his stock in a class with a number of NFL ready running backs. Given some time and some good coaching he has the physical ability to become a feature back. At the very least, his speed will allow him to be an effective change of pace back.
