Strengths:
Elite athleticism. Very good bulk and overall strength. A physical player. Can lay the lumber. Had a break out junior year. Decent coverage.
Weaknesses:
Lacks ideal height. Inconsistent for much of his first two years; is a one year wonder or did he really realize his potential last season? Overaggressive at times. Misses too many tackles; not a great wrap up tackler.
Comments:
Mayo has been a workout warrior this offseason and really climbed up the draft boards. However, don't buy into his soaring stock too much; he's benefited from a very poor overall class of linebackers.
