Joe Flacco QB Delaware #5

Ht: 6'6
Wt: 236

Strengths:
Ideal size for an NFL quarterback. Calm and patient in the pocket. Tremendous arm. Very accurate on short passes. Shows good touch on deep routes. Near perfect mechanics. Tough and durable.
Weaknesses:
Hasn't played against the top level of competition. Transferred to Delaware after failing to win the starting job at Pittsburgh over Tyler Palko. Not a threat to run.
Comments:
Flacco certainly look like an NFL quarterback and he accomplished all you could ask of him at Delaware. The obvious question is, how will he be able to handle the faster pace of the NFL compared to the competition he faced at Delaware. He should impress scouts with his workouts, but we won't really know how good he can be until he's throw into the fire at the next level. His upside is tremendous which should place him in the 3rd or 4th round.
