| Adequate size and strength. Very calm and patient; looks comfortable in the pocket even as the pass rush closes in on him. Very good mechanics. Smart football player. Has great touch on deep passes. A true team leader. |
| Weaknesses:

| Doesn't have a great arm. Lacks the elite tools that make him stand out as a sure thing, despite his success at USC. You have to question whether or not he's a product of the system, given all the talent around him. Missed time with an elbow injury early in his career, and missed time with back spasms as a senior. |

| Brother of former Florida Marlin third baseman and NFL journeyman quarterback Josh Booty. He's a solid but unspectacular quarterback. He has the tool to make it to the next level but, like his brother, he could be restricted to the role of career backup. |
