Johnny Dingle DE West Virginia #92

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 273

Strengths:
Excellent size and strength. Short and stocky. Holds his ground exceptionally well. A smart player that diagnoses the play quick and puts himself in position to make a play. Has the size and strength to play DE in a 3-4 system.
Weaknesses:
Lacks the speed to be a great pass rusher. Doesn't have the quickness to get into the backfield with any consistency.
Comments:
Dingle is an intriguing prospect that was a surprise early entry into the draft. He played in the rare 3-3-5 defense at West Virginia, which will allow him to make an easy transition to a 3-4 defense in the NFL. He could be even more valuable to a team running the 4-3 defense however, because he is versatile enough to provide depth at both end and tackle.
