Josh Barrett S Arizona State #19

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 223

Strengths:
Elite size and speed. A tremendous natural athlete. A true workout warrior. A hard hitter and also a reliable wrap up tackler. A smart player that is rarely caught out of position.
Weaknesses:
Overaggressive at times. Not as good against the pass as he is against the run. Not always fluid in pass coverage. Had an up and down career. Didn't stand out as a senior as expected.
Comments:
Barrett has rare measurables but he never fully lived up to his potential. He is certainly worth a mid round pick based on potential, but he hasn't put together the career to deserve much more than a 3rd round pick at this point. If he gets it together he could be a steal. He definitely has the raw talent to be a starter in the NFL.
