Keenan Burton WR Kentucky #19

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 201

Strengths:
Ideal height and overall size. Great leaping ability. Can go up and get the ball in traffic. Good speed; a moderate deep threat. Reliable hands. A hard worker and a team leader on and off the field. Uses his size to his advantage.
Weaknesses:
A serious injury risk. Hasn't had any career altering injuries, but just can't stay out of the trainers room. Missed most of 2004 with a broken wrist. Missed time in 2005 with a broken foot which required two surgeries. Slowed by an ankle injury for parts of 2007. Took a step back his senior year. Never fully lived up to potential.
Comments:
Burton has the physical tools to be a first day pick, but injuries and inconsistent play will cause him to fall down the boards. His size and speed will be very intriguing if he's still around in the third round and he shouldn't fall much further than that. If he had stepped up as a senior he would have been a legitimate first round prospect, but he has just been too inconsistent to deserve to be off the board that early.
