Keith Rivers LB USC #55

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 241

Strengths:
A tremendous natural athlete. Makes plays all ove the field. Adequate speed for the position. Well built, good overall strength. A big hitter and a reliable tackler. Shows all the phyiscal tools to be an elite run-stuffing linebacker.
Weaknesses:
Only average in pass coverage; definitely plays like he prefers to rush the passer and play the run. Missed time in 2005 with a pulled hamstring. Could be a slightly undersized; at the very least would benefit from bulking up. Missed time in 2007 with ankle injury which also caused him to miss the combine.
Comments:
Rivers is the elite linebacker in this year's draft. He stands head and shoulders above the rest much like Patrick Willis did a year ago. He isn't quite at Willis' level, but not far behind. He should be a top 15 pick and start for someone as a rookie.
