Larry Grant LB Ohio State #6

Ht: 6'1
Wt: 235

Strengths:
Played bigger and stronger than he looks. A physical linebacker. Great natural athlete. Faster than his timed speed indicates. Shows consistent improved throughout his two years with the Buckeyes and emerged as a leader on defense as a senior.
Weaknesses:
Only two years experience at Division I. Lacks ideal measurables. Below average timed speed.
Comments:
Grant is a classic example of guy that can't be judged based off his workout numbers. What he does on the field goes beyond what he can do in the weight room. However, he is still undersized and you have to question how that will effect him against the bigger, stronger competition of the NFL. He projects as an instant contributor on special teams, and should be a solid late round pick based on that alone.
