Marcus Harrison DT Arkansas #55

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 317

Strengths:
Adequate height. Great bulk. Decent strength. Decent quickness. Has experience at defensive end. An experienced player that started the majority of his four years in Arkansas.
Weaknesses:
Major injury and character concerns. Didn't qualify academically in 2003 and had to spend a year at Hargrave Military Academy. Suspended in definitely in 2007 after being arrested on felony drug charges and misdemeanor traffic charges. Missed time in 2005 with a sprained ankle. Suffered a sprained ankle and a concussion in 2006. Underwent knee surgery in 2006. Underwent knee surgery again in 2007 to repair a torn ACL.
Comments:
Harrison is a talented defensive lineman and someone will take a chance on him, however the character and injury concerns are just far too great for him to be selected before the 5th round. Its very possible that these concerns will cause certain teams to remove him from their draft board all together. Ultimately, he should feel lucky to be drafted and given a chance at the next level.
