Maurice Murray DT New Mexico State #45

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 334

Strengths:
A massive defensive lineman. Can take on multiple blockers. A perfect fit at nose tackle. Has adequate speed for a guy his size.
Weaknesses:
Won't make plays in pursuit. Won't get too many sacks unless they fall into lap. Missed 2005 season with infection in his knee.
Comments:
Murray's size makes him an intriguing prospect. There aren't many teams in need of a defensive tackle, however, which may cause him to fall out of the draft. However, teams that run the 3-4 defense will be quick to contact him as a free agent because with little investment needed at that point, he is well worth the risk. He could be an absolute steal, or he could never be heard from again. Its hard to project with one dimensional players like this, but expect to see him on a training camp roster.
