Great size and strength. A tough downhill runner; can pick up the short yardage. An old school fullback that excels as a blocker.
Weaknesses:
Lacks speed to do much carrying the football. Limited athleticism. Not much of a threat as a receiver.
Comments:
Schmitt is the type of player who's contributions will never show up in a box score. He could be a very valuable mid-round pick for a team looking to add a true fullback.
