Ray Rice RB Rutgers #27

Ht: 5'9
Wt: 195

Strengths:
Well built and very strong for his size. Hits the hole with a burst. Powerful runner. Can take a hit from much larger defenders. An effective blocker.
Weaknesses:
Lack of size is a major concern, not because he isn't strong enough to take his game to the next level, but because it could lead to durability issues. Not a home run threat; doesn't have the speed to turn the corner and break off the big run. Has already taken a beating, averaging over 300 career per year in college.
Comments:
Rice has the ability to be a feature back at the next level, but concerns about his size and durability will cause his stock to fall. In the end, his production at Rutgers was too much to overlook, he shouldn't fall any further than the 3rd round and will be given every chance to win a starting job in the NFL.
