Ryan Clady OT Boise State #79

Ht: 6'6
Wt: 309

Strengths:
Ideal size and strength. A great athlete considering his size. Shows impressively quick feet for a man of his stature. Great technique; knows how to put himself in position to handle all varieties of linemen. Quick enough off the snap to handle the smaller, quicker defensive ends. Strong enough to handle the bull rush.
Weaknesses:
Lacks ideal lower body strength to generate a powerful push which limits his ability as a run blocker.
Comments:
Clady is as good as it gets in terms of pass protection. He leaves a little bit to be desired as a powerful run blocker, but has room to add some weight and shows the dedication to improve. He's only been playing offensive line for three years, as he spent his redshirt freshman season on the defensive line, which gives reason to believe he is still improving. He has a very high ceiling for success and should be a solid top ten pick.
