Sam Keller QB Nebraska #9

Ht: 6'3
Wt: 228

Strengths:
Ideal size and strength. Good athlete. Has the ability to make plays with his feet. Above average arm strength. Smart quarterback. Makes good decisions. Tremendously productive while at Arizona State. Adequate arm strength.
Weaknesses:
Serious injury concerns. Missed time with a hand injury, and eventually lost his starting job at Arizona State, when he tried to stiff arm 6'4, 340 pound Haloti Ngata. Suffered a variety of other injuries throughout his career including thumb, ankle and shoulder injuries.
Comments:
Keller was on pace for having one of the all-time great careers for a Pac 10 quarterback when he, probably unfairly, lost his starting job to Rudy Carpenter. He had a decent year at Nebraska, but wasn't put the best situation to succeed. Keller deserves a shot at the next level, but teams will be cautious of his history of injuries.
