Steve Slaton RB West Virginia #10

Ht: 5'10
Wt: 195

Strengths:
Well built. Strong for his size. Excellent agility. A threat as a receiver out of the backfield. A true home run hitter; always a threat to take it the distance. Shows good patience and willingness to let the play develop.
Weaknesses:
Slightly undersized. Doesn't run like a feature back. Avoids contact. Not powerful enough to carry the load. Might just be a product of the system.
Comments:
Slaton is the perfect example of a running back that excels in a system but doesn't have the tools to make it at the next level. He has some qualities that can fit into a system, but doesn't have what it takes carry the load. His effectiveness as a receiver and elusiveness as a runner makes him an ideal third down back.
