Tony Hills OT Texas #79

Ht: 6'5
Wt: 309

Strengths:
Great natural athlete. Ideal height. Has the frame to bulk up. A hard worker. Shows the ability to dominate at times. Good technique in pass protection. Quick feet and good overall agility.
Weaknesses:
Not a powerful run blocker. Doesn't always fight to the whistle to finish off his blocks. Somewhat of an underachiever; never really lived up to his enormous potential. Redshirted his freshman season after major knee surgery. Missed end of 2007 with a broken leg.
Comments:
Hills came to Texas as a tight end and has the athletic ability, coupled with the size, that you look for in a franchise left tackle. However, he's never lived up to his potential and still has a lot of work to do. He's soft at times and doesn't finish off his blocks. He lacks the intensity on the field to be consistently dominant. Injury concerns also linger, which also hurts his stock. He looks like a mid-round pick, but could be a steal if he ever realizes his potential.
