| Ideal size and strength. A tough football player. Always around the ball. A hard hitter and willing to step up in run support. |

| Lacks ideal speed. Not a fluid athlete. Struggles in coverage. Not a great wrap up tackler; goes for the big hit too often. Overaggressive. Somewhat of a reckless defender on the field; not the smartest player on the field. Some major character concerns; charged with felony burglary in 2007. |

| Joiner has some upside, as he was a productive member and a leader on a great defense the past two seasons. However, he doesn't project as a starter at the next level and his reckless play doesn't make for a good backup. He will be given a chance, but his character concerns may cause him to fall out of the draft. |
