| A well built, solid natural athlete. Dominated against the lower level of D-I competition. A reliable tackler. Well above average in run support. Plays with a linebacker's mentality in run support. Impressive timed speed. Good ball skills. |

| Not as good against the pass as in run support. Slightly undersized to play strong safety at the next level and doesn't have much room on his frame to bulk up. |

| Johnson dominated the Sun Belt conference for the past three years and is certainly catching the eye of scouts. In a weak class of safeties he has a chance to really climb up the boards with some good workouts. He has great speed, the hands to make plays in pass coverage, and the strength and willingness to contribute in run support. He should come off the board in the 2nd or 3rd round range. |
