Strengths:
Ideal height and above average strength. Physical for a cornerback; shows the ability to jam receivers at the line of scrimmage. Adequate speed. Tremendously productive returning kicks. Reliable tackler.
Weaknesses:
Not fluid in man coverage; looks choppy and occasionally clumsy in his backpedal.
Comments:
Branch will have an immediate impact on special teams, both as a return man and in coverage. He can be a playmaker, but struggles in man coverage at times. He may be best suited as a safety at the next level.
