| Elite pass rusher. Quick and explosive off the snap. Tremendous speed and quickness for a defensive end. Has the speed to chase down the ball carrier. Shows a good array of moves to get to the quarterback. Has the overall speed, quickness and athleticism to play linebacker. Great technique; shows a good understanding of how to use leverage to his advantage. |

| Not big enough to be a dominant every down defensive end; needs to bulk up if he's going to stay on the line. A one dimensional pass rusher; not as effective against the run because he fails to hold his ground too often. |

| Gholston is an elite pass rusher. He has a rare combination of size and strength. His best fit is probably at outside linebacker in a 3-4 system, but if he adds 10 pounds he could easily remain on the defensive line. He's the type of player that will average double-digit sacks during the prime of his career. He should be off their board in the top fifteen picks. |
